The annoyance of finding a last minute dress is what triggered this latest poetry attempt. That's why I dedicate this poem to other late shoppers. This predicament ensued last week when I had the "delight" of shopping for a garment to wear for the eid celebration to come.As you can probably tell the shopping experience was not greatly rewarding and was instead stressful.
I am not a fan of shopping quickly as I am someone who is fairly picky. This results in me generally buying only 2 or 3 articles of random clothing after entering what seems like dozens of shops.Which obviously made it an issue when I had to buy clothes this eid celebration two days before the actual event occurred.
This was expressed highly by my family members who were assisting me in my shopping venture. They found the shopping trip to be too long as my indecisive shopping techniques seemed tedious to them. The distress of finding a fitting dress is shown in this poem so I found it was only reasonable to title the poem"The distress of finding a fitting dress".
The distress of finding a fitting dress
So much to choose from but so little choice
"No, not this dress", I say in a low voice
What a great design, but I must decline
Why is it hard to define, what I want to find?
Oh no it's all accumulating
Quicker, Faster, They are all waiting
That dress, this dress, stop hesitating
My minds debating
My minds debating
